High fashion beauty brand company, SLG was the latest business to set its sights on The Brewery Quarter and opened their award-winning luxe office in early 2019.
The Cheltenham-based, global company is the inspiration behind a portfolio of beauty and male grooming brands fusing trend, fashion, lifestyle and pop culture. Brands include COLAB Dry Shampoo, LMX by Little Mix, Zoella Beauty, Johnny’s Chop shop and Superdry Performance Grooming to name just a few.
SLG has a reputation for incredible creativity and being at the forefront of trends – with its 120 strong workforce adding to The Brewery Quarter’s social backdrop and providing a great destination to fuse business with pleasure and create a happy team.
The 27,000sq ft unit is located on the first floor of The Brewery Quarter’s High St block above Urban Outfitters. Designed by SLG along with award winning London interior design firm Modus Workspace, the £2.5 million kit-out includes features such as a 20ft shipping container staff shop, vast media wall and a café and bar area. SLG has certainly created one of the coolest work spaces in the country, helping its team of young professionals unleash their inner creativity and providing a truly dynamic workspace.
SLG’s new home means their staff are consolidated into one site, having previously been split across two, and the extra space has given the company’s ambitious growth plans headroom to flourish.
CEO and Chief Creative Officer, Miles Dunkley, commented: “The Brewery Quarter provided us with an exciting blank canvas where we could create an incredible workspace for our people. A fundamental objective was to fashion an interior experience that would not be the norm so that the folks who work at SLG and those that visit have a truly inspiring and memorable experience. There has been a lot of thought and ideas implemented around the connectivity of people, the social experience of the work place and how the interior landscape can summon a sense of creativity, fulfilment and ambition.”
