Join The Brewery Quarter in celebrating the start of Christmas festivities in Cheltenham, with their official switch on party on Saturday 20th November, from 4-7pm.
Featuring a variety of local talent – from festive carols with Lakeside Primary School’s 50-strong Young Voices choir, exciting dancing from the Danceworks Studios crew – to a taste of the West End with a musical performance from children from My Stage School. Enjoy Thomas Trilby’s interactive show, with a fast moving mixture of circus skills, comedy, audience participation and festive tomfoolery. Get your heart pumping along to the banging beats of the Silver Sambistas from Ola Samba, and party and dance along to popular hits courtesy of local boy band The Hornets.
We’re delighted that some of the cast from this year’s Christmas panto Jack and the Beanstalk, – showing at The Everyman Theatre from 26 November – will be on stage to provide a taste of what to expect in their spectacular show. They will arrive shortly before Father Christmas, who will be making a whistle stop tour (whilst his reindeer wait patiently for him out of sight on Cupola Tower rooftop) to switch on the lights at around 6:30pm.
Customers are advised to come for the whole event and to wrap up warm, with the centre at its busiest just before the lights switch on.
In the interest of Covid safety, customers are also advised to wear a face mask. Hand sanitiser will be available at each entrance.
